Baby's in Black direkam oleh The Beatles pada tanggal 11 Agustus 1964 sebagai lagu pertama di album studio keempat mereka, Beatles for Sale. Ditulis oleh duo legendaris Lennon-McCartney, lagu ini bercerita tentang kegalauan seorang pria karena kekasihnya mencintai orang lain, terlihat dari petikan kalimat liriknya pada salah satu bait yang berbunyi "I think of her, but she thinks only of him, and thought it's only a whim, she thinks of him". Lagu dengan chord yang bluesy ini dimainkan dengan tempo dan ketukan seperti waltz-time.

Lagu ini benar-benar merupakan salah satu masterpiece dari The Beatles di periode awal karier gemilang mereka. John Lennon dan Paul McCartney mengisi lead vocal berbarengan dengan harmoni yang sangat indah, George Harisson pada lead guitar, dan Ringo Starr pada drum. Lagu ini sering dibawakan secara live dalam konser The Beatles periode tahun 1964 hingga 1966, rekaman versi livenya pun di rilis pada side-b album Anthology di tahun 1996.
